I just saw this Bible on sale on eBay and hoped it was from somebody's family on the list: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1636477743 Anyone connected to Isaac Hardy Jones? Locations mentioned include Armstrong County, Leechburg, and Slate Lick. Linda
Hello, I am a new lister and wanted to post this abstract: Susan Harriet BAKER born Jul 1858 Armstrong Pennsylvania CO? or City? Int Gen Index Greatgrandmother Susann DEROUIN fits the birth date, she is listed on the 1880 census of Woodward Twp. Clearfield Co. PA being the wife of my Mother's Father's Father who had an accident in Blair Co. or took his own life in 1882, Susann however was deceased after the birth of her son as the two sons were orphaned at the time of Father's death. Was he despondent? Was it an accident? The boys appear again in Allegheny Co and McKean Co. I have been lucky to trace them to their demise. I therefore am now trying to locate the Susann (PA) and husband's parents birth Canada, as they were French Canadian. Records hard to trace as I have no marriage date or church. Oldest son born 26 Dec 1877, most likely they were wed that year. If anyone knows about this Susan Harriet Baker, please reply. I have a feeling about her as one of the sons was in a Baker household at the time of the census. Thanks in advance and glad to be on the list.............grayce PA
The series and microfilm numbers for all the census is online at the NARA website...www.nara.com
Can anybody tell me what census roll Leechburgh Borough is on in the 1860's census? I am hoping to make a trip to NARA in Philadelphia on Tuesday and have a page that I would like to look up while there. I also need the microfilm number for Allegheny Township in 1830. Any help you can give me would be appreciated! Is this information online somewhere? Nancy in DE
