Hello all! Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! I was wondering if anyone has hired a professional genealogist to break down their brick walls. I've seen some advertised and they seem to be expensive but has anyone hired one and been satisfied with the results? My Rombach family settled in Allegheny County in the 1830's and stayed there but all the records I have from PA do not show any info on where my 3rd great-grandfather had immigrated from in Germany. Just wondering if it is worth the money to hire someone. Thanks in advance! And thanks to all who post....I've learned so much over the years! Carol in California
