Don and Listers: I have a second great-grandmother, Nancy WRIGHT, b. c. 1876 possibly either Cumberland (later Franklin Co., PA), parents NOT known; married my second great-grandfather, James THOMSON, c. 1798, either Cumberland or Franklin Co., PA; mother of seven known children: Robert, b. c. 1799 (died in infancy); Elizabeth, married to McTAGGART; Hannah, married to Dr/Rev WYLIE; Jane Ann, b. 1804, Franklin Co., PA, married to Robert CAROTHERS; Margaret, b. 1808, Allegheny Co., PA, married to John LAMBIE; James, b. 1812, Allegheny Co., PA, married to Margaret PLANKERTON; and my direct line, Robert THOMSON, b. 1815, Allegheny Co., PA. Believed to have died after the birth of Robert, b. 1815, as husband James Thomson married a second time, c. 1821, Allegheny Co., PA to Margaret Jane PEEBLES. The THOMSON line were staunch Presbyterian, probably "Reformed". Have been searching for close to 30 years for any further details about Nancy nee WRIGHT THOMSON, such as parents, siblings, date/place of birth as well as date/place of death and burial.
