This too has happened in my family searches, with death records, marriage records, cemetery records, etc. Always, and I stress always, double check, recheck and check again. Good advice Larry! I've reported two mis-indexed records to Familysearch in the last two months, and they're pretty good of double checking in their indexing projects. Sometimes you have to use some pretty imaginative wild card searches to find them. When Allegheny court house had the Pgh death records on fiche on the mezzanine they missed indexing my ggrandmother when the created the index. They only way I found her was I had pinned the date down to within 6 months and went through all the records one page at a time. Larry
