Carole, I must smile at your information on your husband's family. When my husband and I became engaged I got the distinct impression his family thought he was marrying down. They believed they were upper social strata and wealthy. As time passed it became out that my family have 4 times as much money to leave us and many more relatives on my side had advance degrees from college and had contributed more to the common good of man. Never judge a book by its cover is a good saying.
