I am trying to date a photo I have by a Pittsburgh photographer, R.D. Cochran. The back of the cabinet card states, "R. D. Cochran, Artistic Photographer, 150 and 152 Wylie Ave, cor. Elm St. Instantaneous Portraits of Children a successful Specialty. Duplicates can be had at any time." I did find a cabinet card of an African-American soldier during the Civil War that was taken by RD Cochran. Is there a listing anywhere of photographers and when they had their studios? TIA- Pamela
