There is also a modern printed book that has cataloged old photography studios. I know my library has a copy. If I get down there today or Monday, I'll do a lookup. Off the top of my head I cannot remember the proper name of the book. Bella On 01/17/14, pmm<pmmcm@comcast.net> wrote: I am trying to date a photo I have by a Pittsburgh photographer, R.D. Cochran. The back of the cabinet card states, "R. D. Cochran, Artistic Photographer, 150 and 152 Wylie Ave, cor. Elm St. Instantaneous Portraits of Children a successful Specialty. Duplicates can be had at any time." I did find a cabinet card of an African-American soldier during the Civil War that was taken by RD Cochran. Is there a listing anywhere of photographers and when they had their studios?
