Where do I look for a marriage that took place May 29, 1901 between Katharine E Nahay and Michael Belusar in Allegheny Co. Pennsylvania. I hope to find her parents names to be sure this is the correct Katharine. Katharine was Catholic. Thanks Madeleine

Hi Madeleine, Try this website for Pennsylvania county marriages: https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1589502 If you find it usually the original record is there. If you have any problems, let me know. There's a site for Ohio county marriages, also. ~Blessing for the New Year, Bev in Calif. P.S. Calif. is in a severe draught... So Bev, are you saying that if you see the names in that index page....then there's a way to look at the actual document in that same collection? Thanx Barbara (from Willow Berm Marina)
Hi Barbara! Yes... After you enter the names, etc., and find who you're looking for, click the name. (You probably know this part) The index page with information on the couple will come up, then scroll down to the right side bottom of the page and you'll see "View document" and "Save Image". I like to use the "Save Image" because I can use the icons on the document to make it larger. If it gets too big, I'll click the incon that says "Best Image" and start over until I have all the information I want. Anyway, click there and a box will come up and hit "Open". Wait a few seconds and the image should be there. It usually will be small and that's when these little icons at the bottom of the page come in handy. Good luck with your hunting and let me know how this works for you. ~Hugs from your neighbor, Bev Pray for rain! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara%2FBill" <bandbpompei@comcast.net> To: <paallegh@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 01, 2014 10:37 AM Subject: Re: [ALL] Marriage records > > So Bev, are you saying that if you see the names in that index > page....then there's a way to look at the actual document in that same > collection? > > Thanx Barbara > (from Willow Berm Marina) > > > ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > > Visit our Allegheny County, PA Website: > http://www.pagenweb.org/~allegheny/index.htm > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > PAALLEGH-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message
I was positive that I saved this site - even passed it along to others....but now it has passed from sight.. Looking for the Google site that listed all the old newspapers that were available on line. Especially interested in the Pittsburgh Dispatch for 1908. Help! Barbara, Sacramento
