    3. Having done research in Allegheny County by visiting the County, the records are there, it is just a matter of locating them. It is unfortunate that some of the records there are not in Family Search or they are misspelled. The Diocese has records based upon what the Parish reported. I know while searching for a death record with the Diocese, the records form the Parish did not include the Cemetery name and the Cemetery on the Death Records from PA, that block was improperly completed. This was for a Catholic but the Cemetery indicated was a Jewish one. Parents were Catholic and the child is not with the parents or grandparents. Just one of the many brick walls we each have. 3. For those of you looking for marriage records for Allegheny County on familysearch: The records from about 1904 through the mid-1903s were not microfilmed by the LDS and are therefore NOT digitized on familysearch. FamilySearch doesn't explain that these records are not there. If you are looking for a marriage during those years, you'll have to contact the marriage license bureau in Pittsburgh for a search and a copy. Occasionally you'll see a record from 1905 or 1906, but if you examine carefully, you'll see that it's from another county and the indexing put it in the wrong county.
