    3. Paul is right on Mary Fran. My great grand parents never moved their entire married life however the house number changed 3 times. Oliver and crosses the City of Pittsburgh line at Ottillia St. Between 1910 and 1920, the house numbers in the city section of that street were increased, usually by 100. You may check some of the other neighbors addresses between those 2 census' years for confirmation. There is Bronder at 303 then 403 and Scheirer at 423 then 529. I can guarantee that these folks NEVER moved. I once knew the reason for this change, but this memory escapes me. Never having lived in Pittsburgh, I have some questions and hope someone on this list might be able to help. 1.) In one place, George's surname is spelled with two letters, n. 2.) we have all of Teresa KINTZ HOFFMAN papers with her maiden name spelled as I have typed it here. 3.) My late Mother-in-law spelled her maiden name with one n. Is it wise, then, to accept the differences in newspaper obit as "typos"? 4.) My late Mother-in-law's baptismal certificate shows her residence as 305 Ormsby Avenue. By what means would I discover the correct address for these HOFFMAN folks? I am wondering if they just moved to another home. 5.) Finally, what do the letters C.M.B.A. indicate? 6.) Under the present church/cemetery names/locations, where would George HOFFMAN be interred? Any and all help appreciated. Mary Fran HOFFMAN---On Saturday, June 3, 1916, at 2 p.m., George HOFFMANN, husband of Teresa HOFFMAN, (NEE KNITZ) in his 42nd year.
