Hi Mary Nice to see a message with your name attached. Haven't seen it for a while. I've been lurking on the various lists that I am on, haven't had the urge lately to do much of any thing for a few months, probably cabin fever and the results of an ice caused fall, no broken bones, landed on my left elbow driving it up into shoulder joint, just a fouled up left bicep and shoulder muscle. Still have restricted movement in the shoulder. How is Titan treating you? About noon the rain started here, the latest I've seen is 1 to 3 inches of snow; was 6+ yesterday. To keep myself occupied I've been spending my time trying to come up with a different way to display Ancestor Trees, I can't stand the software generated ones. I've gone from 3 generations in a 2 layer photo mat 8 x 10 and 8 1/2 x 11 formats, and layouts to print straight to photo paper; also 10 generations with pictures in 19 x 13 "bow tie" with off shoots format printed on photo paper. In January I bought a new wide format printer that allows me to print up to 13 inches wide by any length up to 44 inches, largest standard is 13 x 19. I have a Descendant Tree, of my design, that is about 8 feet long; took a lot of 8 1/2 x 11 paper to get that length, with the printer I might get away with 2 sheets. I placed this on scroll rods. I haven't tried to put the Descendant Tree on the 13 inch width yet, should be able to get another generation or two on there. We'll be back in the area this weekend for my sister-in-laws 80th birthday party. Staying in a motel in Homestead, they live in W. Mifflin, (Duquesne area) arrive Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning. My sister-in-law has been bugging me for a couple of years for the Dittman ancestry data, so, I've printed out the Ahnentafel of my brother, put it in a ring binder with the Ancestors pictures that I have; and made up a set of my new 19 x 13 Ancestor Charts to go with it. Waiting for the binders to put the prints in to arrive. I laid out these new charts using Excel, makes it real easy, at least now that I've done a mess of them.
