    3. Ran across the following article while indexing- anyone have any tips on where this depiction would be today? Pitt Gaz Nov 24, 1868 At a recent reunion of the survivors of the Old Third Division, First Corps, (Reynold;s), it was proposed to have a large painting representing the action of the Division at Gettysburg, July 1st, 1863. A sketch for this painting was prepared by Col. Bachelder, and will be on exhibition this (Tuesday) evening at the Union Depot Hotel in Pittsburgh. The object being to see whether this sketch is satisfactory to the members of the division and their friends, they are invited to call and examine it. General Rowley, Colonel Glenn, Major Slagle, Captain Dalgliesh, and other well known officers and men residing in or near Pittsburgh, who were members of this Division, will assist Colonel M'Farland, also a member of the Division, to explain the sketch. -- My interest in seeing the painting is that the aforementioned Col GLENN was my cousin and much was written on his efforts and that of his men in that fateful battle. annie
