    3. Doug: For the 1836 deed take the name of the person your ancestor purchased the property from and go to the Historic Pittsburgh map collection and check the warrantee atlas to see if he was the original land owner. For the 1865 map you can go to my maps page below and try to see if you can find your ancestor on the map. Any hints, its amazing to find my 4 great grandfather's property (1836), and his oldest son's property (1865), in the old Indiana Township, which later became Ohara Township > > Any help would be great!! > > Doug Kleitz > > its all in a name > > ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > > Visit our Allegheny County, PA Website: http://www.rootsweb.com/~paallegh/ > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PAALLEGH-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- My genealogy page http://twothompsongenealogies.com/ Allegheny County Maps page http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~lt0168/maps/
