Hi Listers, Do be careful of those awful viruses that lurk around. My computer was completely disabled due to an invasion of a virus and three days later and $110.00 poorer, I'm back online. Be certain of what you click on even if it is someone you know. Those links can contain viruses. Cornelia Browne
That's cause all you people send EMails out "emass" in the "TO:" line in your browser. You should use the "B.C.C." if you are sending Emails to more that one person. Only use "CC" if you are sending to one other person. When you use BCC it does not send along all the Email addresses that you selected. When a person receives it it only has their name in it. When you mass EMail - the "webots" pick up hundreds of EMail addys cause you kept REPLY to ALL in your response... or forward the EMail with all those EMail addys in there and all the viruses that came with it. No one knows EMail etiquette --- just the sloppy way to do it. I'm hoping this will be permitted... When you forward Bcc messages., remind the recipients by the following.. " Before you forward, please DELETE my email address; and, use Bcc to keep your friend's email addresses private......" Barb
