Jeanette, You are correct on this too! Apparently my Mother's sister and brothers, and even my Father stood outside and waved to her. Don't know why my Dad was not inside, but I do remember my Mother telling me this. I was the first grandchild on that side so I guess it was a big deal for her family. Their mother had died the previous December, 1947, which of course meant my Mother was pregnant at the time of her mother's death. The parking was horrible at St. Margaret's, with just a small lot around the back of the building.
