    3. On this page: <http://coronercasefile.pbworks.com/w/page/16512016/FrontPage> I could only find the ³Search this workspace² in upper right corner, which searches page content. With this I searched 1) for BAUER as a surname, with 3 results, none of which were for my two BAUER deaths in Sep 1902 and Feb 1909. I also searched 1909 as a single term, which resulted in 5 results, again not for my BAUER death in 1909. This may mean neither of my BAUER deaths required a coroner¹s inquest; or it may simply be that no one has abstracted/transcribed those months/years. However, somehow, somewhere, I came across a link to a page with ³The 1918 Project² and this one actually abstracts the coroner records for the period of 1/1918-12/1919. <http://coronercasefile.pbworks.com/w/page/16512063/The-1918-Project> RE: The 1918 Project: The 1918 Project was conducted by Rebecca Machado and Alison Smith as part of their history internship. Project data were collected from all case files between January 1918 through January of 1920. The information is currently available through excel spreadsheet files. Please note that the information is presented in the docket number order per the convention of the Coroner's Office. While date of death and date of inquest are often in the same month they may also take place months or years apart. SO.....if your person died between Jan 1918 to Jan 1920, you may find them (depending on coroner¹s inquest) on these excel files. Note that it will REALLY help if you know at least the month as well as the year, for instance the first several links to excel files: Jan1918.xls JanFeb1918.xls Mar1918.xls MarApr1918.xls MayJune1918.xls JuneJuly1918.xls JulyAug1918.xls Here are two examples of what can be found in those excel sheets: Box Folder Start Folder End Last Name First Name Date of Death Age Nationality Social Relation Occupation Sex Color Place of Death Coroner Deputy Coroner Cause of Death Comments 154-1 191712-076 191712-080 Andzelik Infant 1917-12-05 American Infant F White Residence, 100 Wilkins St D.
