My grandmother was a Hohman from Wheeling, WV. She had 1 brother, John who moved to Baltimore. I do not know if her father, John Hohman, who died in a flood in Wheeling around the late 1800's had any siblings or not. -----Original Message----- From: paallegh-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:paallegh-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Tomi Larson Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2011 4:03 PM To: Allegheny Rootsweb Subject: [ALL] Roll Call Hello List, It's a new year, so how about posting our surname interests? I am researching these names in the Pittsburgh area: LEWIS, HOLMAN, HOHMAN/HOHMANN, GEISLER, LANG, CYPHERS, WOOLSLAYER, JONES - mostly 1800s. The German names mostly lived in the East Liberty area and attended Sts. Peter and Paul Church. Regards and thank you to all who work so hard on the Indexing.
