    3. I just read in the May/June 2010 issue of "Family Chronicle" magazine, page 52 about Coroner Case Files. In that issue I read "The database holds approximately 206,000 individual names, dates and docket numbers associated with the case file. Within seconds, it can be searched to determine if a file exists. The only information needed to search the database is first and last name." Is this database available online, so that I can search it from my home, to see if a case file does exist for my ancestor? If so, can someone please provide the link and instructions. Thank you Mickey ...the impossible just takes longer MickeyC@consolidated.net

    3. Is that just for Allegheny County PA? I am surprised the article does not give a reference as to how to find out more about the records. I thought some of those old records were given to the University of Pittsburgh, but perhaps I am remembering something else. 3. I can get SOME of the records, in Excel format, but don't know how to access the rest. Go here: http://coronercasefile.pbworks.com/w/page/16512005/Coroner-Office-Links If you look on the right hand side of the page you will see a list of dates by years. Click on a set, then below the list click on FILES. That's where I can't figure out how to get more of the years. Anybody have any better luck? Clare
