It took me a while to find this information because I used this service in 2000. It was called Ruesch International, Inc.. At that time I needed a money order for the Germany Archives in Bamberg in DM. My local bank had no idea how to go about it, and when I did find a bank with international connections they were charging a very high fee. I found this company from reading posts on another list. They charged $15.oo for each international money order. I had to set up an account with them and I recall this was simple and done either on the phone or email. I then sent them a check for the Archive fee + their $15.00 charge and they sent me back a money order for the Archive fee amount in DM. I know you are interested in wire transfer and it might be worth a call to see what they can do for you. I did a Google search and they were sold in 2007 to Travelex http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_20090504/ai_n31632558/ The article states: Travelex is the world's largest non-bank currency specialist and global payments provider, making international transactions easy for any business. Operating in over 30 countries, Travelex has been servicing the needs of businesses and consumers for over 25 years. This is the current site http://travelex.com/ Hope this helps, Sandra > -----Original Message----- > From: paallegh-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:paallegh- > bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of C.
