My great grandfather, August Gartner, emigrated from Veitsteinbach and settled originally on Troy Hill, where he worked as a bricklayer/masonry contractor. I just recently came across a few old photos that were taken on some job sites from his masonry business. Only two of them have any identifed people, but if anyone is interested in those mentioned below and would like a copy, please let me know. Joan, I did a search on the word Theresa in all of 1915; came up with about a dozen items; none of which was a YODERS or anything like it. Wondering if between indexing, transcribing, posting, and other error opportunities, possibly the year may have been typo¹d or someone may have written her first name as Theresa is usually spelled. It¹s always possible it could have been in the paper as Teresa, or ??? I suggest you go back to the index and make sure. IF it¹s still the same date/year, I¹d probably try a span of 5 years on either side of 1915, trying YODER as well as YODERS; and Th- as well as T-. Good luck. Thanks, Larry. I don't feel too bad now....I've had problems getting items in the past, most likely due to my not being used to....or understanding methods!
