We have on Robert Hartman and he is Haplogroup R1b. You can check it on DNA for Robert Hartman and see if you match. It is always amazing how many Hartman families were from Adams/York County and they aren't connected with our family. If our Jacob 1789/1858 is a son of Andrew 1763/1828, then I have done some research on Baltzer Smith 1725/1802. Will proven, York Co. Children: Maria 1761, Eve Dorothea 1763 (buried at Bermudian Cem.), Sarah, Mary,Salome,John, William. No info on the last 5 children. Does this compare with you? Thanks. Dorcas B.
