I am expanding my database of men who served at Camp Security, the last remaining undeveloped Revolutionary War POW camp in the United States. While the camp was located in York County, some of the men lived in Adams County, or settled in Adams County after the war. Over the past week I verified the names I previously added to my database, to assure accuracy in past research I had performed. The following are NEW names I have just acquired from PA Archives books. I have transcribed these names exactly as shown in the books, so surname spelling might not be accurate to your research. At times one needs to look at the surname a few times to understand what name they were actually writing. If you feel you descend from these people, I would appreciate a response, as I am also compiling a database of descendants from men who served at Camp Security.
