Hello Folks: A friend of mine is beginning his family tree. His family is new to the USA - only about 3rd or 4th generation here. He found out at a family reunion that his family can be traced back to a town about 15 miles or so from Rome, Italy and he was told that the family name was changed from another surname to NERICCIO. We were wondering if there are any church records for Roman Catholic churches near this area in Italy and if so - how could we find them?? I am familiar with searching records in the USA but not outside of our country... any help appreciated!!! Donna
Donna, Go to LDS site www.familysearch.org; then go to Search Records; then Library Catalog; then 'Place Search"; then enter town name. Also try 'Surname Search'.
