Washington Street owned by members of the Culp family. There was an archeological dig on this site circa 2006 prior to the area being developed. In the 1880s, the Mundorf family became associated with this enterprise through marriage. I found an article on the dig some years back but cannot now locate it. I believe the Mundorf associated with the shop was Jacob McClellan Mundorf. He married Emma Culp. I do not now which Culp family she was from. There were several on S. Washington St. during the Civil War. Anita C. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
