My Grandfather, Martin Luther Culp was a 16 year old Corporal in the Union Army(Warren's Independent Cavalry) and was with his father Jonas and 8 year old brother Rueben at the dedication. Rueben later recalled meeting Lincoln afterwards and shaking his hand. Luther in later life High Constable of Gettysburg (1881-1882) moved to Escondido, Californbia and would recite the Gettysburg address at 4th of July celebrations.
