    3. Hello Fellow Listers: There were actually 2 different sets of Tax Records done. One was done every year while the other was done every 3 years.... so you both are correct. One was the Annual Assessor's Duplicates and the other was the Triennial Rate Books. You may also luck out and find Pauper Children listed in these early Tax Lists. Happy Hunting! The source for these records in located at the Adams County Historical Society in Gettysburg, PA. They are not online. They are listed by every 3 years by township within Adams at that time.
