Hi there, Okay, I've got a question.  Adams County didn't become a county until 1840.  Before that the territory was part of York County.  So, how did Adams County have Occupational Tax Processing? Susan, Adams became a county in 1800. The source for these records in located at the Adams County Historical Society in Gettysburg, PA. They are not online. They are listed by every 3 years by township within Adams at that time.
