Hello Folks: Just letting you know that The Perry Historians will once again be holding it's annual Genealogical Workshop at it's library on Saturday, March 12, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.. This workshop is FREE. Harry Focht - our master genealogist - will be speaking on where to look in the courthouses to find hidden genealogical treasures - as well as other "secret" areas of research. We will recess for lunch - which will be on your own. For those persons never at our library to do research, there should be time to do research on your own in the latter-afternoon. Our facility is located just northeast of New Bloomfield, Centre Twp., Perry Co., PA. along Rt. 34 about 2 miles from the square on the right hand side. If you'll be coming from Newport, Oliver Twp., Perry Co. - we are located about 4 miles southwest of Newport on the left hand side along Rt.34. Look forward to seein' you there!
