While visiting the Piqua, Ohio library, I found an Ilustrated Historical Atlas of Miami County Ohio, printed 1873. I thought a member of our list was researching the KITCHEN family and this bio caught my eye as Henry was born in Adams Co PA. Here is a synopsis of the short bio on Henry Kitchen. I am not related to this family, just sharing some information. Henry KITCHEN, b. Oct 16, 1797, Adams Co., PA. Henry emigrated to Ohio in 1819. Henry settled in Piqua, Washington Twp., Miami County, Ohio May 1, 1819. This info and probably a little more from the Flesh Public Library, Piqua, Ohio. Jane Tripp researching PLATT in Adams Co 1747 to 1801 or so
