I know there are several books about Adams County, but I am looking for a specific book and hoping to find it at a local historical society or library. I need: Title, editor, edition, date, etc.. I have misplaced my copy of the title page and need to look up more information. I have page 17. At the top: "HISTORY OF ADAMS COUNTY" "The first paragraph begins with: Behold the magnitude of the results, and the paucity of means." ------------------ "CHAPTER V." "Second Arrivals---Penn's Purchase---"Manot of Maske"---Survey----......".etc. Next paragraph begins: "In the year 1736 William Penn purchased all the region........." It is a great book and I really need to do a lot more reading in it. Thank you to anyone who can help. Sue
