Wehler, brother of the bride, and Rev. W. H. Herbert. Wm. MCKINNEY and Dollie GITT, both of Hanover, were married on February 18 by Rev. Father Foin. Milton J. WAGNER and Nannie C. DECKER, both of Hamilton twp., were married on February 11 by Rev. W. H. Herbert. Adam MEALS, of Butler twp., and Alice K. WALTMAN, of Tyrone twp., were married on February 13 by Rev. Shindle. C. F. LAWRENCE and Lucy L. SMITH, both of Mountpleasant twp., were married on February 10 by Rev. Fr. Hayes. DEATHS Rachel SOWERS died on February 8, in Strahan twp., in her 65th year. The infant son of Thomas D. and Emma MCCREARY died on February 9 at New Chester. Daniel HOFFMAN died on February 11, in Latimore twp., at about 58 years of age. Anna M. STAHL died on February 13, in Abbottstown, in her 64th year. Julia A. FORSYTHE died on February 11, in Franklin twp., at the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 28 days. Henry TROUP died on February 12, at Almshouse, at about 79 years of age. Susan J. BITTINGER, the wife of P. H. Bittinger, of Hanover, died on February 12, in Washington, D.C., at the age of 63 years, 8 months, and 2 days. Henry BUCHER died on February 11, in Mt. Joy twp., at the age of 55 years, 3 months, and 5 days. MISCELLANEOUS Jacob LAWRENCE, of this place, has been granted a pension. John A. GELVIN has had his pension increased. He resides in York Springs. Frank GARBER, of Waynesboro, broke his wrist of his right arm Saturday evening, while skating at the Rink. L. C. GEISELMAN will remove from Hampton to East Berlin in the spring, and continue the dry goods business. A bill to pension Charles W. GRIEST, for service at the battle of Gettysburg, has been presented in the House at Washington by Col. Maish. Rosa STANHOUR, of Arendtsville, has finished a quilt made up of 12,168 patches. Her sister Minnie has one of the same number almost done, and their sister Ida has made one of half that number.
