LONG, of Downington, Pa., and Rebecca C. DICKSON, eldest daughter of John Dickson, Esq., were married on June 22 near Hunterstown, at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. W. S. Van Cleve officiated, assisted by Rev. James C. Watson, D.D. of Milton, Pa. Clayton E. SLAYBAUGH and Elmira E. TAYLOR were married on May 20 by Rev. J. H. Snoke. F. A. WEAVER and Missouri A. LIPPY, both of White Hall, were married on June 13 by Rev. John Ault. DEATHS Mrs. Jane BIGHAM died on June 1 near Fairfield at the age of 70. Mrs. Margaret C. BOWER died on the 12th inst., near New Chester, at the age of 72 years and 21 days. Israel GARRETSON, father of Israel Garretson, of Butler twp., died on June 20 in York County, at the age of 83 years, 1 month, and 13 days. Mary E. KLUNK died on June 10 near Hanover, at the age of 16 years, 2 months, and 9 days. Mrs. Jane Ann MCCUNE, the widow of Thos. McCune and the daughter of James Neely, Adams County, died on June 7 near Shippensburg, Pa. Mrs. Anna Shoemaker died on June 10 in Littlestown, at the age of 79 years and 1 month. Adam BAPBST, a tailor, died at Shrewsbury, York County, from bed-bug poison taken while in a state of melancholy due to family troubles and being out of work. Age about 64 years.. James M. TAUSER, of York, died suddenly on Wednesday afternoon of last week, while at his daily labor as as moulder.
