Hi, I also have ancestors ,Bannister Pool(e) & Mary "Polly" Gregg, who were married 5 Jun 1819 Frankin Twp., Adams Co PA., by Rev L L Hinch. I have found his name spelled as Hench - Hinsch etc. Further searching I came up with the name of Lebrecht L Hinsch as a pastor at Benders Church, a union of the Lutheran and Trinity Reformed Church. Both churches used the same building. Benders Church was built on land in Menallen that was donated by Jacob Bender in 1791. If I am correct, Rev Hinsch was connected to the Reformed congregation. He was with the church from 1804 - 1834. I would love to know if the church records or Rev L L Hinsch/Hench were ever published so I can verify my info that was obtained from a widow's War of 1812 pension application. I am hoping there is further family info in the records. Hope this helps, Carole G in So.
