I am searching for any data on REA families of Adams County, particularly those with relatives in Cumberland and Franklin Counties. My Rea ancestors lived at the head of the Amberson Valley, on Conococheague Creek, in Fannett Township, Franklin County from before 1790. There was a road constructed that ran from Conocheague Creek south, along the Franklin County/Adams County border, past Chambersburg, and terminating in the south in Adams County. I believe this was the main road for travel between these areas, and that my ancestors traveled back and forth between these locales. My line are cousins to Rep.
