I have found ones in my family that the daughters were cut out because they shamed the family (so to speak). My great grandmother was cut from her fathers will because she married outside her religion (United Brethren to Lutheran) and just happened to be very pregnant at the time of her marriage. I have also seen ones that everything was left to the eldest son and no other child was given a portion. Amy
