I am planning a genealogical research trip to Adams County in June and am wondering if there is an Adams County Historical Library that I might visit. I was in Adams County several years ago, and seem to recall that there was a facility in Gettysburg that was only open on Monday and Wednesday, and so I was not able to inquire further. I found a web page with an e-mail address for the ACHS, but it bounced back to me. If such a facility exists, where is it located, and what hours is it open? Or, if someone could give me a phone number or email address I would love to contact them myself. I am specifically interested in any records relating to St. Ignatius Church and the surrounding area of Buchanon Valley, Orrtanna, Adams County, PA (land, wills, vital rec?). Any other suggestions for where I might go to research would be greatly appreciated (I visited the church 2 years ago, and was turned away). Thank you for your help.
