CASHMAN--Feb. 24, in New Chester, George CASHMAN, aged about 80 years. TYPER--Feb. 5, in Littlestown, John H. TYPER, aged about 33 years. CRIST--Feb. 20, in Hampton, Luther Miley March, child of James B. CRIST and wife, aged 11 months and 8 days. HERMAN--Feb. 25, in this place, Lillie HERMAN, aged 14 years. MOORE--Feb. 17, in Highland township, William McGinley MOORE, aged 13 years, 8 months and 21 days. MYERS--Feb. 21, near Bermudian churches, Alice B., child of Irvin MYERS and wife, aged 5 months. WAGNER--Feb. 29, in this place, Faith Hope, daughter of J. Frank and Mary A. WAGNER, aged 1 month and 20 days. JOHNS--Mar. 7, in McSherrystown, Evaline Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. JOHNS, aged two weeks. WOLF--Feb. 23, in Franklin township, Ida, wife of Amos WOLF, aged about 29 years. WISLER--On the 3d inst., Mary, wife of Johnathan WISLER, aged 56 years, 9 months, and 1 day. CUFF--Feb. 29, in this place, Wm. Henry CUFF, (colored), aged 60 years, 7 months and 29 days. Mr. Francis SHEPARD, of near Greenwood, Franklin county, son of Mr. William SHEPARD, deceased, formerly of this place, died on Monday the 24th, of peritonitis. He was sick about a week. He was buried last Wednesday, and leaves a wife and two small children. Mr. Geo. SHEPARD and wife, Mr. James SHEPARD and wife, Mr. John SHEPARD and wife, Miss Margaret SHEPARD, Mr. William WARREN and wife, Mr. Joseph STEINBERGER and wife and Mr. William NEWMAN and wife, of this county, attended the funeral. On Monday night of last week, Mr. Elias LAU, who had been seriously ill for a week or so, died, and was buried on Thursday morning. Mr. Charles LEMON, a man living on the road along the Conowago on Pine Hill, who, it is supposed came with the Confederate army from the South to Gettysburg and remained in Adams county, died on Monday, aged about 53 years. Last Tuesday a respected lady of Franklin township, Mrs. Jonathan WISLER, died at her home, aged 56 years, 9 months and 1 day; the cause of death was a complication of troubles. The funeral, largely attended, took place at Flohr's burial ground on Thursday. Mrs. WISLER was a daughter of the late John HARTMAN, of Mummasburg, and lived on the farm formerly owned by him, but now owned by her husband. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and four children; two daughters, Mrs. Chas. RIFE and M. Martha, and two sons, George B. and Samuel M. Her death is regretted by the many relatives and a large number of friends. Last Thursday, Mrs. Rebecca, wife of Alexander SCHWARTZ, of Mountjoy township, died after a short illness from the effects of a stroke, aged about 52 years. She leaves a husband and two children. The funeral took place on Saturday, interment at Grace church, Two Taverns. Last Tuesday evening Mrs. Catharine, wife of Jacob B. WILDASIN, of Union township, died after a week's illness of pneumonia, aged about 65 years. She was a sister of David and William BOWERS, of near Littlestown. The funeral took place on Friday morning, interment at Christ church. MARRIED KITZMILLER--HUFF.--Feb. 26, in this place, by Rev. A. R. Steck, Mr. Charles T. KITZMILLER, of Freedom township, to Miss Lucy A. HUFF, of Highland township. WILSON--KEAGY.--March 5, at the home of the bride, by Rev. F. S. Lindaman, Mr. Robert H. WILSON, of Littlestown, to Miss Emma M. KEAGY, of Union township. MISCELLANEOUS H. P. TREIBER, of near here, accompanied by his wife, left for Kentland, Ind., this week, where they expect to make their future home. Mrs. Carrie LEIBE, of Baltimore, and Mrs. Ann ESSICK, of Hanover, visited their mother, Mrs. Sarah E. MELHORN, on High street, over Sunday. Mr. John HAMBURG and wife, of Hanover, visited their niece, Mrs. Charles ROBINSON, this place. Mr. A. SMITH and wife, of Hanover, visited his brother, Mr. Jacob SMITH, near town. Glen GARDNER, of New York, spent Sunday at the home of his aunt, Mrs. A. S. HIMES, Pitt street. Dr. J. E. GLENN and lady returned on Tuesday evening from their wedding tour, and were tendered a reception by the boys, and some large growth. On Thursday a sumptuous dinner was served at the residence of E. B. SWOPE, the bride's father. Mr. and Mrs. John W. SULLIVAN, of Monrovia, Md., spent several days last week visiting his sister, Miss Sue, and other friends in town. Mr. Jacob COMFORT has moved to Arendtsville, to his son, Horace. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. ZIEGLER went to Frederick last Friday to attend the funeral of Mr. Z's aunt, Mrs. Julia SMALLWOOD. Mrs. BUTTORF, of Harrisburg, is visiting at her father's, Prof. SHEELY's. Thaddeus L. WELTY, of this place, has been granted a pension of $8 per month.
