I have never posted the family I'm researching on this board before so here goes: 1. I am looking for Samuel Beecher, born 17 Dec 1767 place unknown, and died 8 Oct 1821 in Hagerstown, MD. I am trying to find out where he was born, and married. 2. His wife was Barbry Winthrope. I would like to find out where & when Barbry was born and died. 3. I know that there were at least 3 children. A. Jacob Beecher was born 2 May 1799, near Petersburg, Adams Co., PA. He was a well known Reformed minister. He died 15 Jul 1831 in Shepherdstown, Jefferson Co., VA (WV). B. William W. Beecher, born 10 Aug 1801 and died 12 Oct 1881. He is my 3rd Gt. Grandfather. C. Sarah H. Beecher, nothing know about her. I would appreciate any information about the Beecher and/or Winthrope families that members of this board might be willing to share with me. I will be happy to share info on William's family.
