I am researching the surname Arkland. In the 1840 Census for Hamilton 2, Adams, PA is listed a Joseph Arkland. However I cannot find him in the 1830 or 1850. Does anyone have, or can anyone find any further information on this person? Thank you in advance. Amy Lathrop Lackwanna, NY
