Abraham Blumer, concealed the famous old Liberty Bell, now in Philadelphia, under the floor of Zion's Reformed Church, in Allentown, during the British occupancy of Philadelphia in 1777-8, and her maternal grandfather, John Jacob Mickley, hauled the bell here. John Jacob Mickley was the grandfather of John Mickley of Carroll's Tract, this county, and of Mrs. Hester Plank, deceased of this county, the mother of Amos Plank, deceased, of this place. She is the daughter of Philip Jacob Muhlhof born ca 1700 who came with Philip Lantz on the Edinburg in 1753. Therefore you are related to my daughter in law and grand sons thru the Lantz children. Johan George Liebenstein(sometimes Lowenstein) b 1742 is the son of Johan george Liebenstein and Catherina Rauscher. They married 27 June 1738. She is the daughter of Jacob Rauscher of Alsace.
