Seeking information on the family of William Kauffman who was born about 1866 and who lived in East Manchester, York County in 1910. He died in December 1937. His wife’s name was Agnes. They had a son whose name was Lester. An entry in my grandmother Emma Sloat’s (nee Trego) diary indicates a family relationship between my grandfather, John Sloat and William Kauffman. The entry indicates that Lester Kauffman and his mother Agnes attended my grandfather’s funeral on June 10, 1938. In addition, I have several photos of both William and Lester. On the back of one of William’s photos is a note indicating that he was a cousin of John Sloat, my grandfather. I have not been able to identify the family match-up. Any help would be appreciated.
