This is my first posting to the list and I would be very appreciative for any help or suggestions I may receive regards a band, possibly as brass band, the community named New Emigsville had circa 1920. My grandmother, her siblings, and parents came to that area from Semlak, Hungary. I have found the land records for them and also two old photos showing my great- uncles wearing band uniforms and standing by a drum showing the name of New Emigsville. Where should I write to get information about this band and it's history? They are wonderful old photos and I would like to have something to share about them when I do the family book. Where should I write to get help locating exact location of the land and possibly get help having somebody photograph the home as it is today? I have in my possession a photo showing the family sitting in front of a stone home which I assume was the house in PA. The family was Evangelical (Lutheran). Was there a church most of the immigrants attended in the area of New Emigsville? If so, were the records microfilmed by the LDS? Thank you for any help or suggestions.
