My main objective here is to find who the parents are for Johannes Heck/ Hake/ Hoke b. abt 1750-1760 and Catherine Frey b. 10 Aug 1760. I am guessing that Conrad was born about 1710-1730. There is a Conrad Hoch who is mentioned as one of the purchasers associateed with Madam Marie Ferree who settled in the Connestoga Twp/Strasburg Twp area. This Conrad hock had two son's a George and Samuel who moved to York. I found a marriage record for Johannes Hage s/o Conrad Hag and Catherine Frey d/o "late" John Frey in East Cocalico , Lancaster Co , Marriages. This couple settled in Lower Chanceford Twp, near New Bridgville, in now York CO., PA. They lived near Muddy Creek Fork in York Co very near McCalls Ferry. There are many Frey's in the area and Hake's, and Haugh's. There is a Hans George Hege and a Balthazar Heck there in Muddy Creek as well and some have tried ot tell me that the Conrad I seek is the son of George. This doesn't work as George's son Conrad was born in 1747 and was married in NC. I have also found a passengers record for a Conrad Hage at Philadelphia in 1753. George Ament died in 1770 (Wills J-64) and his will mentions his wife Catherine, sons: George and Jacob; daughters: Merrilles, married to Adam Gartner, Catherine married to John Stork, Anna Margaret married to Gotfried Frey,CATHERINE ELIZABETH b. Hellam Twp, now York Co married CONRAD HOKE and Barbara who married Jacob Schultz of Crays Craig. ____________________________________________ ____________________________________________ In the will index there is a will for a Conrad Hoke dated 1814. and there is no Conrad Hoak ,Hage or Hoke etc in the Index to the 1750 Tax Records. But there is in 1770 Hoak Conrad taxed 1769 in Strasburg and also in 1771 aa Conrad Hoak. In 1780 Tax Records is a Conrad Hoak in Strasburg in 1779...there is also a George Hoak there at this time . Thanks for your help! Melissa
