Hi Joan, It's been some time since we corresponded, I believe at that time I was trying to track down another Jacob Arnold (1770). I also have this Jacob Arnold in my tree, but I show him as the grandson of Samuel and Barbara. I show John Arnold and Mary Jacobs as Jacob's parents. I have Samuel and Barbara's son Jacob as being born in 1811. I don't know how acc urate my records are and I hope I am not confusing you any more than you already are. I have not checked the census records for Samuel and Barbara as yet. Maybe you can connect Mary Jacobs in your line somewhere. Please let me know if this is of any help. June
