Hello to all and happy holidays. My ancestors arrived in York County in the mid 1800's from northern Wales. They settled in West Bangor and worked in the slate quarries. The surnames are - JONES, ROBERTS, EVANS, WILLIAMS. As you can see, they are all very unique last names .... :) I would be interested to hear from anyone with one of these rare surnames in their family tree from York County.
