I do think there is supporting evidence of the fact that Johannes married Margaret Sherman. I'm not sure whether John moved to Cumberland County or not. I have his children listed as: Frederick born in 1776 Elisabeth born 1779 George born 10 Nov. 1780 Jacob--born 23 Sept. 1783 Margaret born 1791 John born 1793 (?) Margaret Catherine born 1796 Joan

    3. Joan, I agree with you on working with this particular family line. If it had not been for very helpful people I don't think I would have sorted mine out. Yes, that is Robert Myers work. I was not sure if I should supply his name but did not want to take credit for his work. It was in one of the two I read that about John's wife. I also have an article about Nicholas Sr that was in some book, I don't remember which one. I would have to look back into my records for that. Glynice
