I need a little help! I have a descendant who died in Baltimore, Maryland but was born in York County PA. Her name was Mary Jane Jordan Arthur, she was the wife of Richard Arthur (born Harford County MD) who died at Vicksburg, Civil War. I am hoping the two are buried together, although I don't know if men who died in the Civil War were buried where they died or returned to their home... They had 3 children, John Steele Arthur, Rebecca Ann Arthur Collins, and Dr. Thomas Frank Arthur.. Her obituary reads, "Interment at Stewartstown, PA. Leave Baltimore on 11:45 a.m. train on Thursday, December 15, 1898." Is there a list of cemeteries for this area? So far I'm not having good luck.
