Does anyone out there have any information on Levi Smith of Windsor Twp & Chanceford Twp, York Co.,PA? 1880 Census for Windsor shows Levi and Fanny with the following children; Issac 16, Thomas W 14, Martha 9, and George E 7. In the 1900 Chanceford Twp Census we find Levi, age 68 and wife Fanny, age 61 keeping their grandchildren Wm H 21, Harry 19, Sadie 16 and Frank 12. According to this Census I have also found that they were married 49 years and had 10 children 5 of which were surviving. From the 1880 Census I have determined that the above grandchildren were the issue of Henry Smith and wife Mary. In the 1880 Census for Windsor they were living next door to Levi and Fanny. Henry 22, Mary 20, William H 2, Henry E 2/12. * note that the names Harry and Henry are used for the same child. Assuming that the death of Henry and Mary facilitated the move It would have been at least after the birth of Frank born abt 1888 to 1900. My husbands great grandfather was Harry Smith married to Ida Pearl Shoff. I believe that Harry was the son of Henry and Mary, the same child that is listed a Henry E. Can anyone confirm?
