Hello listers The following is transcribed from an obituary dated Dec. 8, 1939 for Edna Dora Stough. Can anyone tell me about the families listed. There are brothers listed, Harry H. and Neil. I have a Harry H. in my database that is more than likely her brother. I also have several Neil's, but cannot determine which is her brother. Any information would be helpful. Thanks for the assistance. Edna Dora Stough Miss Edna Dora Stough died at 9:35 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, MR. AND MRS. JOHN JUDY, 804 Prospect Street. The deceased, who was 58 years old, was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, York Lodge No. 169, Independent Fraternal Beaver Beneficial Association, and Yorktowne Temple, No. 25, Ladies of Golden Eagle. Surviving are the following sisters and brothers: MRS. JAMES MILLER, MRS. MAUD JUDY, MRS. CLARENCE LATCHAW, HARRY H. STOUGH AND NEIL STOUGH, all of York. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning from the Memorial Funeral Home of Henry Sleeger and Sons at 822-30 East Market Street. Rev. L. M. Blake-- This is interesting, since Evy had an aunt Edna Romaine Stough, and her mother was named Dora. Evy's home was at 1123 E. Poplar. She says she remembers going to school with a John Stough who E. King St. But her parents told her they were not related. Maybe this is from that family. Let me know if get an ID.
