I recently became aware of a a Patent for "Aconitum", which is a tract of land situated in Manheim Township Co of York, PA. It read beginning at a comer Black Oak thence by land of Daniel Ponser,South fifty five degrees East eighty eight perches to a Black Oak due South thirteen perches to Black Oak and South fifty five degrees East one hundred twenty eight perches to Black Oak marked for a comer thence by land of William Buchannan north thirty five degrees East one hundred sixty perches to a Comer Post thence by land of Michael Hover north thirty five degrees West one hundred fifty seven perches to a Comer Black Oak thence by vacant land south fifty five degrees one half degrees west two hundred sixteen perches to the place of Beginning. Some of the names on the passing of the Deed were michael Shively, John Huntzackre, Abraham Welty, Casper Rosaland & Michael Paul. My question, can anyone tell me how to find the location of this land, and is anyone searching these people' Thanks for any help Katherine

I can not help you with the description of the property; however, some of my husband's family, the Boyers, were farmers in the Manheim township area. We visited the area last fall. Would be interested if you run across any Boyers.
